Sebagai Renungan Bersama...
Imam asy-Syafi`i meriwayatkan daripada Ibraahiim bin Muhammad daripada Ja'far bin Muhammad daripada ayahandanya bahawasanya Junjungan Nabi s.a.w. telah menyiram (air) atas kubur anakanda baginda Ibrahim dan meletakkan atasnya batu-batu kerikil.
Berikut petikan daripada Kertaskerja Mufti Negeri Melaka (Datuk Wira Hj. Rashid Redza b. Hj. Md. Saleh)
Sunat meletakkan pelepah daun atau bunga yang masih hijau di atas kubur iaitu sebagai ikutan daripada perbuatan Nabi Sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam.
Diharuskan membawa dan menabur bunga secara sederhana dan tidak membazir. Harus menjirus kubur dengan air bunga- bungaan jika dia berupaya dan bermaksud supaya para malaikat hadir kerana malaikat sangat suka kepada bau-bauan yang harum lagi bagus.
Haram menyerupai orang yahudi dan nasrani yang membawa kalungan atau jambangan bunga dan meletakkannya di sisi pusara meraka.
Dan menurut Al-Fikrah oleh Dato’ Seri Haji Harussani Haji Zakaria (Mufti Kerajaan Negeri Perak)
Binaan atas setiap kubur di tanah perkuburan Islam juga ditegah sama sekali seperti binaan simen konkrit kecuali jika mayat itu ditanam atas tanah kubur milik persendirian yang telah dikhususkan oleh keluarga untuk menanam mayat keluarga mereka sahaja.
Ada orang bertanya kepada saya, apakah ziarah kubur hanya lebih afdal dilakukan pada Hari Raya Aidilfitri atau Hari Raya Aidiladha sahaja. Saya kata, orang Islam sebenarnya digalakkan menziarahi kubur sepanjang masa tanpa sekatan dan masa tertentu. Tetapi, apa yang berlaku, setiap kali menjelang hari raya, orang Islam berduyun-duyun, lelaki perempuan pergi berziarah ke kubur sedangkan pada hari raya mereka disuruh bergembira dan digalakkan berziarah ke rumah saudara mara yang masih hidup bukannya beramai-ramai pergi ke tanah perkuburan.
Masyarakat Islam disuruh sepanjang masa menziarahi perkuburan. Kalau hendak berziarah ke kubur pada hari raya, eloklah dibuat sebelah petang atau hari-hari berikutnya, bukannya pada hari raya pertama kerana pada satu syawal kita dikehendaki segera membayar fitrah dan dikehendaki berada di masjid atau surau untuk melakukan solat sunat hari raya.

.. but in Brunei .... the muslim will visit the grave more frequently during the month of Ramadhan .. and some during Syawal ... (Eid'ul Fitr) ....
.. visiting the grave .. will make one .. reflects thyself ... all the good deeds .. or bad deeds .. and make one closer to God ...
"Dari Abi Hurairah Radiallahuanhu, bahawasanya Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam bersabda: .......Apabila seseorang manusia itu mati, akan terputuslah daripadanya segala amalannya melainkan tiga perkara:..... ...Disunatkan berdoa dengan cara berpaling ke arah kiblat serta mengangkat kedua-dua belah tangan dan mohon kepada Allah semoga roh ahli kubur dilimpahi dengan rahmat, keselamatan dan kesejahteraan....
.... Dilarang meratap kerana perbuatan itu menyebabkan mayat diseksa pada hari kiamat kelak.... Diriwayatkan daripada Umar bin al-Khattab bahawa Rasulullah bersabda bermaksud: "Mayat berasa terseksa dalam kuburnya kerana diratapi" (Hadis riwayat Muslim).
... Haram melakukan perkara khurafat yang menjejaskan akidah seperti mencium kubur, mengusap-usap tanah perkuburan dan sebagainya.....

TRAVEL | Daun Di Kolam ...
.... just a quick post ... this photo was not taken at a national park... nor anywhere near it .... this was actually taken at the rooftop of one of the huge shopping malls in Singapore ....
... usually.. when we see stuffs lying around on the street .. or even in the pond or the like.. we will consider it as rubbish .. or litters... but there are actually 2 type of rubbish ..."good rubbish" .. and "rubbish rubbish" .... good rubbish are those which could decompose easily and contribute back to nature ... just like .... falling leaf .... where as rubbish rubbish are something like .. plastic bags ... PVC and the like .... which does not decompose that easily ....
.. but nevertheless... rubbish to one... could mean money to others ......

.... albeit all the hectic schedule .... all those "toight" deadline ..... everybody deserves some time off for a laugh every now and then ...
... Wednesday used to be one of our "happy-hours" days ... ( still is kah..? ;P) ... eermm.... having some time off... to unwind from the day job .... and such .....

STREET | The Misty Lens ...
... how often to you find your lens.. be it the camera lens... or your glasses got misty .. everytime you comes out from an airconditioned.. or cool area... to another area of warmer temperature ....
.. well.... if it happens ... especially to your camera lens.... it could be a lil bit frustrating .... especially ... if there's something interesting that you wanna snap at that particular instant ....
..... hmmm.. so what to do if your lens got misty ..?
.. just leave it as it is first ... don't wipe it with the ordinary tissue... use... the lens blower.... or the lens cleaner ..... otherwise.... just snap away with your misty lens.....
... nope... no editing needed... just a misty lens.... nice effect eh.... ;)

... walking around during your travels..... without enough rest can be very tiring .... once in a while... u need to rest ... or just sit back along the street ...
... sitting along the street ... not only you can watch loads of people passing by ... you can even the experience the hectic life of their busy city ...
... some are rushing to their destination... some just walk in their own sweet time... some touristy like... just look.. and wander around... "looking lost".. or just having some thought on that street ...... and some are even having their ice cream .. or coffee while on the move.....
.... it was quite a cloudy day ... but the sunlight manage to lit this lady in a pretty interesting mood I might say ... hence... I grab my camera... and capture the moment ....

... waduh sudah 1 pagi ni .... gawat ni ... mau naik taksi pun susah banget ....
... gini aja deh .. pergi ke sinilaizer aja deh... emangnya dibuka 24 jam .. bisa nonton apa aja di bioskop doang ...
... so what to do after midnite...? .. in some big city ... u can go to the 24 hour shopping mall.. .... or chilling out at the 24 hour street cafe .... or u can catch a movie at the 24 hours Cineleisure .... take your pick ....
... even after midnite .. the street are still busy as you can see from the photo above .... and hmmm... isn't that guy that top local model...? hmmmm... so what is he doing there again ...? posing some more what ....
... oh yea.....no wonder.... he is the Local Top Shopper .... eermm... why u might ask ....
... well... this "local bank" held their 60th anniversary's roadshow at one of the shopping malls at the capital .. and one of their events was.. this shopping spree... sort of those Supermarket Sweep like thingy .... so the motive was to get as many item in the supermarket within 6 minutes duration ....
.... so few clients of the local bank registered .. but only 6 made it to the final .... and to cut it short ... The Local Top Shopper managed to fill 2 full trolleys of 634 items worth more than $2300!!! .... items which include ..boardgames..... pencils ... pens ..... cutleries .. ( what for eh ..? ) .... batteries..... toothbrushes .... stickers ... ( loads of 'em ... even took the hook off the shelves) .... disposable diapers ( .. hmmm... interesting ...) ... and many more unnecessary stuffs ... but guess what .. no chocolate bars??!! .. no keropok eh ..? ... or drinks... ? at least can eat what ...
.... anyway ... the prize for winning was... the winner can keep a total of $750 worth of whatever items were collected during that match .... fantastic isn't it ... :) ... and ooh ... before that .. this Local shopper also won 3rd place during the mini treasure hunt from the same roadshow that day ..... eeh steady jua ah ..... congrats eh .... !!!
