.. yet .. IMHO ... none resemble an Arabic architecture... nor Persian motif ... but .. nonetheless... the design of the structures are timeless.....


... the elegant and colourful designed buildings in Arab Street ....

... Arab Street .. used to be the centre of thye Muslim Communities in Singapore ..... selling Muslim amenities .. like ... praying mats, the Holy Quran, praying gears and such ...

.. but now ... it is popular because of its textile .... chiffon ... silk ... organza...... and even batik .... as well as camel skin ....

.. if you are interested to go to Arab Street .... the nearest MRT station is the Bugis MRT ...
